5Account Deletion and Retention
When you request account deletion, your account is hidden or disabled immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day recovery period. You may restore your account within this window by logging back in.
- For jobseekers, we delete account details, profile data, resumes, saved jobs, job preferences, applications, uploaded files, calendar tokens, messages, notifications, and related jobseeker activity from our primary systems after the recovery period.
- For employers, we delete account details, company profile data, job posts, hiring events, invitations, team roles, applications tied to the company, uploaded files, messages, notifications, and related employer activity from our primary systems after the recovery period.
- Some limited records may be retained only when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, payment or billing records, dispute resolution, backups, or enforcement of our terms. Where practical, we minimize, anonymize, or restrict access to retained records.
- Information processed by third-party service providers may also be subject to their own retention schedules, but we take reasonable steps to remove or de-identify data where supported by those providers.
